To this union were born Emil F., Ingeborg, Martha, Amalia A. 'Mollie', Elias, Astrid, Eric S., Arnold, Wilhelmine and Susanna Charlotte. The first four children were born in Odell, Illinois, the last six were born in Palmenthal (now Palmdale).
